![]() It definitely helps to try to pick up more expensive items in the packs, leaving the least expensive required items to be bought with Covet cash or diamonds. The FPs (Fashion Packs) help with the more expensive requirements, especially for newer players. ![]() Many of the FB required items are more expensive than you might expect to find in the current season challenges - but not all. Why are FB (Flashback) items so expensive?! (And are they worth it?) You can also click on the small, white comment icon at the top right of the Help page and submit a Support ticket with a more specific question or request. Covet's Help page will appear, with an FAQ that includes frequent questions about technical issues. When prompted to login, you should be able to recover your account with your email or Facebook login info, provided you have successfully linked one or both prior to the uninstall.įor support, click on the small question mark icon at the very top right of the screen. Only attempt this if you are linked through Facebook or email. If steps 1, 2 or 3 don't work, and if you are linked through Facebook or email, as a last resort you can uninstall the app and re-install it. Power off your phone, re-start it, and then try launching the Covet app. Go to Settings, installed Apps, find Covet Fashion in the list, and then click "Clear Cache." This won't affect your status or items in the game at all. Two things here: troubleshooting, and support.įor general troubleshooting, try the following steps: 1. The Covet app is acting up - what should I do? You can read more about Fashion Houses and the difference between fierce and fancy rally styles on our Fashion House and Runway Rally pages. If your FH isn't winning prizes in rallies, check to see how many members are inactive. Members who don't remove themselves if not actively playing, and have not toggled off, should be removed by the HoH (Head of House) so that the entire house isn't penalized. If you have too many inactive members, you simply won't win prizes in rallies, since the house goal for any challenge in the rally is calculated based on the tallied house members who remain toggled on. A good FH will actively do the "housekeeping," and remove members who don't participate. A good FH will have respectful members and be relatively drama free. A good FH will clearly spell out expectations for players, and remind players when rallies will start so that players can toggle on or off. ![]() There are some exceptions - such as dedicated, elite FHs that only accept players above a certain level - but in general, a balance of player levels not only serves a mentoring function, but also helps to keep things "fresh," as newer players' enthusiasm and new perspectives can complement long-term players' experience and extensive closets. A good fashion house should have a balance of LCV and HCV players. If you are posting too many looks for no apparent reason, your FHs Head of House will usually ask you not to in the Chat before any other action is taken, though (also considered good FH etiquette). Respecting this is considered good FH etiquette. But very few FHs want players posting, and clogging up the Chat feed. Some FHs don't mind you posting lower-scoring looks, especially if you're asking for advice on why it didn't score well. For Covet-related material, some FHs are clear about what kinds of looks should be posted to the chat (usually, 5-star looks). If you're reported, it's even possible you could be banned from the game. spam: No one appreciates being bombarded with non-Covet links, images, or other material in the FH chat. drama: Derogatory remarks, unnecessary personal postings, and other kinds of drama might get you kicked out most FHs frown on this kind of thing (to say the least). (You can find more info on this, along with scoring, on the Rallies info page.) 2. inactivity: The FH should let you know how many/what challenges you are expected to enter, and you should do it, or toggle off during Rallies. Most players who find themselves FH-less discover it's for one of three reasons: 1. ![]() In fairness, any good FH will clearly let players know the House expectations up front, when the player first joins. Getting kicked out of your FH does suck, it's true.
